i have to log in, it seems, every time i change to a different forum
and sometimes even pages. tried the remember me thing also.
can we do anything about this? thx

Must be a cookie setting . The 12000 other members don't have this problem ...

I suggest you download and install Mozilla Firefox...it's one of the best browsers, probably the best. Let us know if that does the trick. And as Total pointed out, have accept cookies enabled.

did some looking and option changes, and for the moment, it seems
to be fine. don't need to elaborate anymore...just happy to be on
