right cable?

I have the Coolsat 4000 pro and want to load the fta bin. I am attempting this with a db/9 cable, (2 female ends). Is this cable the right one?

db 9 is correct....but sometimes the are either female or male....it just depends on the system....but on the coolsat....I don't know
always keep a gender changer around just in case
