This may be far-fetched, but maybe someone else has run into this.
I have an emp-21 universal programmer from needham's electronics. I would like to flash the M58LW064D ST chip for the VIP 211, but needham's is out of business, and the software only supports the M58LW064D tsop package, not the BGA package. Is there any way to add this device to my device list, or is there any way to force the software to think that the programmer is an emp-11 or emp-30 which both support the BGA chip? I'm willing to try anything, this programmer was $700.00. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
