??Caller-ID??

Ive never seen it , but was just curious????? Is there any way we could some how use the caller-ID feature on the 3100's????? If there was a way to keep the IRD from Phoneing home and only RECIEVE in-coming calls looks like it would work. I dont think we could change the area code, which #s to dial to get an outside line or any of the other settings cause I think its smarter than that. If we could only make it recieve and keep it from dialing out the caller-ID on tv would be a nice little touch. Really though its hard enough just to get to watch the darn thing, but if anybody gets bored and wants to try an figure this one out let me know.

i have this program that u can change your caller id information....I dont know it that would help

Also those caller id changer and blocker or whatever you think will work to block it. It Wont.

Dish Network using a system called ANI (Automatic Number Idenification) Its not like normal caller id it can tell your number whatever you do.
